These terms govern your participation in the GreenByte Aliados Program. By applying you accept them. If you don’t agree, don’t take part. The Spanish version prevails.
1. What the program is
The Aliados Program lets people and companies recommend GreenByte’s hosting services and earn a commission on the payments of customers who arrive through their link. GreenByte bills, invoices and supports those customers directly.
2. Eligibility and sign-up
You need a GreenByte account and to apply from your panel. GreenByte reviews every application and may approve or reject it at its discretion. Aliados whose activity is tied to the war industry (weapons manufacturing, defense contractors, private military security or financing of the arms trade), or to illegal content, are not accepted.
3. How a customer is attributed
Once approved you get a personal link. A customer is tied to you when they follow your link and create a new GreenByte account within the next 90 days. If they follow several Aliados’ links, the last one counts. Pre-existing accounts, accounts you create yourself and accounts created to fake referrals don’t count. GreenByte may correct an attribution if it detects a mistake.
4. Commissions
You receive 20% of each referred customer’s first hosting payment, 15% of the second and 10% of the third. There is no commission after the third, unless GreenByte changes the program. The commission is calculated on the hosting amount actually collected, without VAT and after discounts. If the customer pays for a yearly period, that payment counts as one. Domains, one-time services and other items don’t earn a commission. A commission is earned when GreenByte confirms the payment, and only if your Aliado account is active at that moment.
5. Payouts
On day 15 of each month, GreenByte pays the commissions earned the month before by bank transfer to the CLABE you register in your panel, in your name. If the total is under MX$200, it rolls over to the next payout. You are responsible for your tax obligations. For now GreenByte doesn’t request a tax receipt (CFDI); if it does in the future, it will give at least 30 days’ notice.
6. Reversals
If a payment is refunded, cancelled, charged back or turns out to be fraudulent, its commission is voided. If it was already paid, GreenByte may deduct it from future commissions.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not: send spam; bid on the GreenByte brand or its variants in search ads; pose as GreenByte or its staff; promise prices, discounts or features GreenByte doesn’t offer; or promote GreenByte on sites with illegal, misleading or hateful content. Breaking these rules may lead to suspension of your Aliado account and loss of unpaid commissions.
8. Use of the brand
You may use the GreenByte name and logo only to recommend its services, unmodified and without suggesting you are part of GreenByte. GreenByte may ask you to take down any material.
9. Personal data
Your panel shows the name, plan and status of the customers you refer, only so you can follow your commissions. You may not use that information for anything else or share it. GreenByte processes your data (including bank details) only to run the program and pay you.
10. Changes and termination
GreenByte may change these terms or the commission rates with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes don’t affect commissions already earned. You can leave the program at any time. GreenByte may suspend or remove you if you break these terms. Legitimate commissions earned before leaving are paid at the next payout, even below the minimum.
11. Relationship between the parties
Taking part in the program does not create an employment, partnership, agency or representation relationship with GreenByte. You may not enter into contracts or take on obligations on GreenByte’s behalf.
